In-Class Midterm

Model

Overview

This drawing was an in-class midterm where we took our drawing through as much of the drawing process in the given time as possible. Another goal was to practice the enveloping sighting method instead of a more traditional "straight sighting". The enveloping method focuses more directly on sighting the overall shape, or envelop to the human figure, and sighting that and then slowly working your way "in" and sighting internal shapes more and more.
