Kinetic Repetition
Using the simple principle of repetition, design a sculpture that highlights that nature.
Overview
Going in a similar direction as the first project and representing forms in different manners (specifically planes like my cube), I represented a wave-like structure and created a semi-kinetic form from it. The designs radiate from a center, long dowel and each of the "planes" may pivot freely around it. Following gravity, they are directed downward, however, it can be repositions and reconfigured - the sculpture may lay perfectly flat on the floor allowing you to observe the pattern more clearly, or stood upright like in the pictures.
